B3C Senior Outreach Ministry
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed Him. - Mark 1:17-18
We might assume that Jesus’ disciples were great men of faith from the first time they met Jesus. But they had to grow in their faith just as all believers do. If reaching out to the lost is God's heart and mission, should it not be our's as well?
One of the areas we are involved with is visiting Green Acres Nursing Home in Emory, it is the second Saturday of each month. We take them DVD's of our church services and sing a few songs and read a little scripture and take a little time just hanging out and visiting with some of the residents there.
We would like to get with our other ministries to see how we can assist with their outreach as well. I know we have a place you can help.
Schedule:
- Emory, Texas Green Acres Nursing Home-2nd Saturday each month
- Greenville, Texas Park Haven Nursing Home in Greenville-4th Saturday each month
If we are going to be effective, we must do it God's way.
Our task is to be faithful in what He asks us to do.
